MARTA—singer, pianist and songwriter—brings her mix of sophistication, insight, and grace to every performance. She breathes life into an extensive repertoire of show tunes, jazz, popular, classical and ragtime music.  

A solo artist, MARTA's special energy and easy humor light up the intimate cabarets of fine restaurants, hotels, and resorts in the United States and Europe . Singing in French, Italian, Spanish and German as well as English, her unique style reverberates in powerful standards, intercontinental favorites, lilting Irish tunes, and in the music she  composes.

MARTA also sings classical repertoire, currently specializing in French art songs. She often performs these lovely melodies accompanied by  the very accomplished Emily Upham on piano.  Their concerts are a delight for the senses.
 
MARTA is currently recording a new CD of French art songs put to interesting beats, with other electronic effects.  She is collaborating on this project with the very talented Ian Turner, a versatile musician and recording engineer.
